I, uhh, tend to use big words from time to time.
I have to admit though, sometimes I do it just to see the blank looks that I get. Cheap entertainment, I know. But it is laughable.

No. I am the person who uses big words. Let me tell you a preposterous story. The interval between advanced speech has been declared. The interval is 2.16 milliseconds.
That is most likely preposterous, since the interval between the use of advanced speech varies among each person.
Use conjunctions in variation with each sentence you derive. Be wary and discreet as to who you speak your sentence to.
(That's how it is with me, you know? I can be simple for many people who don't know what those words mean. I can be "smart sounding" and I can be "normal", like so.)

Not lately.. But my husband has a great remedy for those that do! Try it it is funny! Express your replies or return conversation with a bit of made up big word gibberish and they will be the one with the funny look and google at hand.
I can disorgasmation the point you made, but I myself feel very undigestestical about trying that myself... It is very hard not to bust out laughing when I hear him slip his vocabulary in the replies to these people we encounter.. Try it

No we are all rednecks here, heck we don't even own a dictionary where we come from. You know up in the hills where the bears and the deer live and we go barefoot all summer and go around naked and drink moonshine 24/7.

Yes, there is someone in my english class that is constantly using big words. He even does that large pause just to think of a really good word to use. So annoying. He doesn't sound anymore intelligent to me. I think that you should use everyday vocabulary in everyday life and save the formal words for writing.

Having endured a VERY classical education involving the study of Latin and Greek and much essay-writing, I find that I constantly use language which confuses people.
"Trepidation" and "Visceral" were the last two words I used which confused people.
