Got a job at a bank as a IT administrator questioning if banks in general give good rasies?

I just got a job at a bank starting off at $42k I wanted to know if anyone else works at a bank and do they give a decent raise annually? Basically are they cheap or do they give money, its at a credit union been around more then 20 years

This is something you should have asked the HR department or your manager during your interview.

To answer your question, some are very stingy, others give fair raises. I doubt whether any financial institution is overly generous with their IT staff at the entry level.
