i need to choose.
i've had this problem for 8 months.no one ever helps me.
i've lost over 100 points asking this question.
-------------------------
Wii
OR
digital camera,case, 2 gb memory card,$5
OR
PSP,case, Daxter(don't really like it),when a stranger calls, 2 gb memory card, and $30?

----------------------
the PSP is kinda getting old.
i already have a ipod so take off the music option.
The internet option is not free so take it out.
The only features available are the games(of course),photos, movies.
The only thing you can do on the camera is take good photos and make videos.
the Wii is kind of expensive.
i wont have much games for it.

You can't compare the Wii to a camera....how is a Wii better/worse than a camera? If you like taking pictures, get a camera. If you like video games, get a Wii.
The Wii has a wide variety of single player and multi player games, so you shouldn't get bored with it if you keep up with new releases. If you can afford to get two games (Zelda and something else) you're set for a while. Just be advised that the motion sensor takes some practice and adaptation. It definately feels different than traditional gaming methods. There are also a lot of games in development for the Wii, including third-party games. It won't run out of steam any time soon.
I don't see any reason to get a PSP, especially if you have an iPod, so I'm biased on that point. The only PSP game I've liked is Loco Roco.

I say go with the Wii because it's more likely to last longer than a digital camera. Digital cameras are always improving. First, it was like 1 MP, and then in a few months, it went to 2, then 3, then 4, etc. Now, there's the SLR. Who knows what's going to be next. With the Wii, at least you know it's going to be the same for the next 4 or 5 years.
The PSP might be on it's way to the graveyard, as far as game goes. The PSP isn't selling too well. The UMD format isn't catching on, so it's not that great as a movie player. Why spend 5 bucks more on the UMD and and watch it on a small screen when you can spend 5 bucks less and get a DVD and watch it on a big screen TV. Also, upconvert players can make the DVD almost HD-like. The PSP is kind of bulky to be a music player. It's fine as a picture viewer, but why spend 170 bucks on a picture viewer.
Will the Wii get boring. That's really going to depend on the developers. Based on what has been released so far, I would have to say yes because 3rd party developers haven't really found any innovative use for the Wii-mote. The Wii-mote has pretty much the same few uses: 1. As a weapon. 2. As a steering wheel. 3. As a gun. 4. As an equipment (golf club, boxing gloves, skateboard, etc.) It seems like only Nintendo is able to find innovative use for the Wii-mote.

If the Wii can duplicate the camera on photos and videos, then paying the extra for the Wii may be your better option. You can always accumulate new games after you get bored with the ones you currently own--trade or sell or swap--but you can't do that with the camera. Unless you are a photographer and really like what the camera does, I would go with the Wii. If nothing else you can sell the Wii in the future, as a curiosity (like Atari consoles are now) but the camera would only sell to a collector and what would he pay? $1?

I'm no gaming expert, but I LOVE the Wii. I don't play any video games at all, but I have been trying to get my hands on a Wii for months now. Have you actually played one yet? The sports game it comes with is so fun! I love the old nintendo games, and I'm looking forward to downloading those. Also, from what I understand, the Wii is considerably cheaper than most new gaming systems.
Thats my 2 cents..hope it helps

Personally I'd go with the camera because I could then remember my memories with friends and family, which is more important to me. I also could then show my creativity through the pictures I take that could start something in the future for me, but thats only me. Gosh. I dont know. Its such a hard choice honestly. Good luck.

I would say take the camera because with the camera you will be able to take pictures of you , your friends , and your family . I am a person that honestly loves taking pictures . To me memories of my friends and family are worth way more than a video game system.
