If an 18 yr old boy and a 16 yr old girl are married in Missouri, with her fathers permission, unfortunately, and they move to Kansas afterwards....is the marriage still legal? or recognized as being a legal marriage in Kansas?

Its legal. You have a marraige certificate.

If it is a legal marriage in one state it is recognized as such in the other states. The ages of consent and majority differ widely from state to state from 14 to 21.

I would think that being married, she has been emancipated and considered adult. I've heard of cases where the husband was being significantly older was charged with statutory rape, but I don't know the outcome. In this case, I really don't see there to be a problem and the marriage should be considered legal.

It will be illegal. He can be arrested sex with a minor that's at least 35 years oif prsion time
