The common cause of toilet bowl stain is minerals that build up around the waterline and under the rim. The culprit is hard water with high mineral content. The best way to clean the bowl is to brush it with an all purpose cleaner. Then, scrub with an acidic power or liquid is one way to attack the mineral stains. Look for the acidic power in your local grocery store or hardware store.

If the stains are from complicated water (by using minerals interior the water) I even have found that utilising a pumice stone rubbing interior the bowl on an identical time as donning rubber gloves works nicely and is effectual. It would not scratch the outdoors and would not desire any chemical components. it is going to scratch the rest room seat so i do no longer advise for the seat. I even have one pumice stone I basically use for the rest room. The pumice stone starts off as a rectangle yet looses the sides making it much less annoying to get alongside the curves and below the rim. yet another commerce approach is to apply a million/2 cup or so of bleach (i do no longer degree-basically pour some in) for various days in a row or in a single day.

there is a product called iron out. you can buy a big container or little one.i put it in the cap and sprinkle it in the toilet let it sit for awhile.you can watch the stain start to disappear.i learned this from my toilet.i have very bad water and it will stain everything.dish washer, sink, bath tub,and my whites.if you have problems with your white laundry fill your washing machine with warm water dump some iron out in it and let it soak over night your whites will come out like new even your socks.make sure you dont splatter it on anything with coler for it will take the coler out.good luck hope this helps you. it truly does work.

If you pour 1 can of coca-cola in the bowl and let it sit for a while, then clean; the acid from the soda is to dissolve these stains. I never tried it, but have heard success stories from others. Hope it helps.

The Bleach idea works really well, I leave mine overnight, just remember to flush the toilet before you use it the next day or you'll know yourself out from the fumes
