You need about 8 to 10 hours of sleep in my opinion. You can go to sleep at 10 and wake up at 6:30 or so on school days.

if you are thirteen years old, you need as much sleep as possible, because your body is going through rapid, and extreme changes. The average person of your age should get from 9-13 hours of sleep per night. If you are tired in the morning DO NOT drink caffine, as it is addictive and it is not an alternative for a good sleep. If you need more sleep, go to bed earlier, and sleep a little later. Also, those "cat naps" in the morning, where you moan, "5 more minutes!" will make you even more tired. So, when you wake up for the first time NATURALLY, is when you should get up.

PS, im a pediatrition too, not just a skin specialist. : )

About 8-10 hours is great for you. But when you sleep depends on when you go to school. So if you go to school at 8, then go to bed around 10 and wake up around 7. If you go to school at 7, go to bed around 9:30 and wake up around 6:30. Something like that. If you're out of school then you can go to bed at 12 and wake up at 10 or whenever your body wake you up naturally

You are a 'young teenager' so you should ALWAYS GET AT LEAST 8 HOURS of sleep every night ... and you are going to have to figure out your time to 'get up' and then count backwards eight hours, and that is the time you should go to sleep ... if it takes more than 'a minute or two' to fall asleep, you should take that into consideration when calculating your 'bedtime.'
