would you play in the finals? or be there to witness the birth of your second child?
"I'm not missing any games because of the birth of my second child," James told ESPN. "I was there for my first one. It's definitely going to be tough on me but I think she (James' girlfriend, Savannah) understands how much I love my teammates and how much they need me." The due date is June 17th, which is the scheduled date for Game 5 against the spurs.

i mean cmon man he is just 22 yrs old... with all the pressure he is facing sometimes he just dont know what he is saying... for him playing basketball and winning championship is much more important than being with his new born... he could be right, but he should have said it in a much proper way...

Your priorities would be with your family, but their have been times when the family has agreed to allow the player to play.

Cookie gave Magic permission to play during the 87 finals during the birth of one of their children, and even Jerry Sloan coached during the 97 finals for the birth of his last grandchild.

It just depends on the situation, and how much family support you have.

Well, the Spurs could help LeBron with that decision by winning the series in four games.

That would be mighty nice of the Spurs.

As for LeBron that is something between him and his girlfriend--if she's okay with it and he's okay with it--then not much else matters.

LeBron James is an idiot for saying that and a bigger idiot for loving the game and his teammates more than his girlfriend. I guess she's just his "Babies Momma" right? No need to support her...noooo!...LOL. What a jackass. ITS A GAME YOU IDIOT!!! You child is born once, thats it.

King James made his decision. That's all that needs to be said. Good luck to him and them and the Cavs.

I would be focused on the game. No disrespect to fatherhood intended.
