UPS is cheaper but they are both reliable. We use both where I work.

FedEx in my experience. UPS has left packages in every imaginable location, intact or otherwise. With FedEx, it's either on the doorstep or there's a door tag & I'll pick it up at their facility down the road from my office (much more convenient than driving across the city to get to the UPS hub).

I go with FedEx because it's right on a main road, and has a parking lot I can get into, and out of, without major hassle. It doesn't hurt that my boss is a FedEx pickup point, either!

For most things, FedEx, but UPS has it's moments.

I prefer UPS they are much cheaper and the guys are cuter.
