If you fell out big time about something with someone and exchanged some pretty harsh, and hurtful words would you hold a grudge against them?

What brings calm to the storm that rages inside you when angry?

If that happened to me I'd calm down straight away..then I'd get a bucket of water and throw it all over them just to relieve tension....and bring some humour to the situation...then when we were finished laughing everything would be ok.
If I fell out with you the above would read the same except for the bit in the middle...like this:

If that happened to me I'd calm down straight away...and everything would be ok

That's a great question! I actually need a day or two. When I get that heated about something, it takes a lot of time, probably because I have a very bad temper. Crying sometimes does it for me. Hitting a person helps (usually not the person I'm mad at). Sleeping it off is good, too.

That's why I tell people not to push me 'cause it takes me a long time to get over it and in the meantime I can be quite a *****.

It takes me about 6-8 hours- and that's after the screaming, crying, rampaging, rude words, and fits. And then I do hold a grudge. The things that bring me to a rage are people either not doing what I say, disrespecting me, or not thinking I'm good enough. What can I say? I'm an aries...research it!

Yes, I usually hold a grudge and bring it back up occassionally if it is their fault. It's not right but that's what I do. And that's only after I've gotten physically violent by kicking and throwing things and crying hysterically. Usually I just pass out from my rage because I exhaust myself. I build up resentment for a long time.

It take me a long time to calm down and I hold a grudge for awhile. It has to be something that gets me very angry that will cause me to feel that way. I don't like the feeling.

I try not to, but sometimes I can't help it and I can hold that grudge for a minute (like up to a day). I try to find me a quite spot and try to work my way through the exchange mentally. During that time, I would rather not be bothered by that person.

Seek inner peace and don't allow your emotions 2 take control of u....Don't allow the other persons ignorance 2 dominate your feeling..laugh at them out loud and let THEM continue 2 be hateful and hold a grudge...It frees u from the bull crap and puts YOU back in control of the situation!

I will only rage at someone as a last resort, after which I am not interested in having further contact with them. And this happens extremely rarely. ~
