Being priviledged enough to have been born in the US, I am a very happy camper. When I think about the living conditions of other people around the world, I think we Americans need to take care of the land, the water, what we own, our health, and be good to each other. We need to guard the US and to be thankful that we are here in the US, the home of brave and the land of the free. We take our lives for granted too much. As for Mr Bush, I think he feels like he's been backed into a corner and is making rash decisions and risking the lives of our young men and women by keeping us involved in a civil war with people who have been fighting for hundreds of years and who do not value life. They will still be fighting each others for the rest of time. That is their mentality, their way of life. They need to be left to their own battles, just keep us out of there.

United States is a great country but George Walker Bush is only qualified to be the Village Idiot. He is an embarrassment to the great country of the United States and should be deported to downtown Bagdad on January 21, 2009 and let the Iraqi's have him. You can send Richard Cheney and all the signing members of the PNAC as well including the Village Idiots brother Jeb Bush.

After traveling around the world... I realize how lucky I am to live in such a GREAT country.
I have a lot of worldwide friends. A ton of them seem to have this hate for the USA. But none of them that say this have ever even been there.
Even if you don't agree with its foreign politics, its a great place to live. Sometimes you don't realize this until you visit the rest of the world.
Based on your "eww" comment, I would love to hear where it is you live, and how you think it is so much better.

The US has so much potential that it's always throwing away. It's had moments of greatness: The Constitution, policing the world, increasing standary of living, inventions(internet, Rock music...), intertainment leader, Scientific advancement.
I watched the news today, so I'm not feeling too good about my country(USA). It's now being corrupted by money, religion, bigots, ignorance, and negativity(anger, rudeness unhealthiness).
Yes some nations are worse than the US, but some are better in terms of standard of living, health, longevity, happiness and justice.
"china who just sentenced their food minister to death "
Sounds good compared to putting innocent people in prison, or excepting the conditions kids have to live in.
3/4 of US people don't vote. They close their eyes and mindlessly repeat what a GREAT country this is.

I love the United States and feel blessed to have been born here. Unfortunately, I don't feel the same about President Bush. I dislike many of his policies, particularly the way he has handled this war.

i think finely of this country. But i hate bush. He got us into an unneccessary war. iraq was never a problem before we invaded. it was never a hot spot for terrorists before we invaded. Now the people who could have helped the country left. Bush better get his f*cking head on, stop drinking, and figure out a way to save our troops and iraq.

The USA? Love it! Love it! The absolute best country in the world!
The Prez? Love Bush! Good, honest, wonderfully decent guy! He loves this country and it shows. He wants to keep her protected. Great man and president!

I love America. I am a very patriotic American. I believe it's the most amazing country to come to be in the history of the world.
I am a supporter of President Bush. I believe at times he's been too nice to Democrats who keep trying to stab him in the back. I also support the War in Iraq. Fighting the terrorists there is a good idea. Better there than here on Sept. 11.

US for the main part is a great country, though it has a few that mess it up for everyone, and that would include George Bush and most Republicans!
