definitely. By not appearing on Fox, there are those that will argue that the Democrats can't adequately defend their positions. If they can't defend their positions on a TV network, why should anyone vote for them?
Of course, by not appearing they would be feeding the conservatives fuel for their campaigns. Conservatives can turn around and say, "look we invited them on our network, and they refused". At this point the Democrats will start pissing and moaning about some reason why it's fox's fault that they were unable to appear.

A little info for vanilla face...FOX beats ALL of them...
FOX averaged a 13.7 rating/22 share for the night, way ahead of anyone else. CBS, 7.1/12, held off ABC, 7.0/11, for second place. NBC finished fourth at 5.3/9, while The CW came in at 1.9/3.
And yes, it makes Democrats look like they have something to hide and limits their exposure.

From a ratings perspective, yes--however, those who are going to watch a debate between Democratic candidates will watch it no matter what channel it is on. Additionally, by making a big deal about not appearing on FOX, they will energize their base of kooks. So, overall, they will not be hurt.
Edit: I just thought of a way they could be hurt--if they were able to answer tough questions with reasoned, thoughtful insight, then they would be missing the opportunity to show that by going on FOX. Hmm...maybe they shouldn't go on FOX.

I believe in reaping what you sow. Since their staying off Fox was an attempt to hurt this news channel then may they receive the fruit of their labor.
Actually I had no respect for them before they decided not to appear there and my feeling for them remains the same afterwards.

Yes. It shows they fear serious challenging questions to their liberal orthodoxies. This makes Democrats look chicken.
You're right. A lot of people appreciate the tough intelligent questioning of people like Brit Hume (I love him). They watch Fox because the other networks only ask softball questions of their beloved Democrats and try to railroad Republicans. Does Rathergate sound familiar to you? :)

Well funny you should ask, I just saw the republicans debate on CNN yesterday. By the sound of your question it shouldn't matter to you what station they debate on, you're not going to vote democrat.

Not appearing on "The Farm Report" would hurt them more.
The more Right Wing Talk Shows spout off about appearance instead of substance, the more they marginalize themselves. The Ann Coulters of the world get a lot of attention at first (everyone looks to see why someone is screaming) but soon enough people tire of it and she is guided clumsily off stage, her 15 minutes having expired 15 and a half minutes ago...
Rush (and whoever gave him that name had HIGH hopes: That tub of lard couldn't rush anywhere except his drug cabinet) is trying ANYTHING he can to stay relevent; problem is, he's just what we used to call a "One Trick Pony"... sounds good on paper, but the one trick gets old in a very short period of time.

No because liberals support the boycott of FOX. If they were to appear on FOX they'd simply be given conservatively biased questions and analysis. It would do more harm than good, and there's simply no point to it. Better to present themselves in an unbiased forum.
