You are right. And I DO.

I notice this in my everyday life...people yell and rant and cashier's and service staff about policies made above their level..they never think that the service person has to eat and pay bills and therefore, must FOLLOW policy...and they are TOO LAZY to go and take it up with management and executive levels.

People here complain about property taxes and the like, yet fail to pay attorneys or go themselves to lobby the politicians THEY ELECTED to make changes in the laws.

You can't even get people (everyone) to go and vote. So simple...

I do all of the above and more...anything I am on here ranting about, believe I go and work on it.

The business establishment, the racists, the facists, and the politicians in the country (and others) all get away with everything because of a lazy populace.

You must do, to get....

Lots of people like to talk about 'ideas'. The thing most people don't realize is that an idea that you are not willing to die for, or kill for, is just the mental equivalent of a fart. Everyone notices it for a while but then it just goes away.

Not too scared, too lazy and too cheap.

What is sick for me to see is that there are people willing to donate 25 tons of peanuts for a stupid TV show, but send 25 tons of candy bars to the troops, hey that's too expensive or too hard!

People are too busy marveling over their high speed internet access, t.v. on demand and text messaging their favorite American idol while uploading instantly downloaded songs onto thir nano i-Pod.

They don't want to work for ANYTHING. They have grown up in a spoiled country and want the world handed to them.

I don't know that they are scared as much as comfortable. And we are trying to change it. What do you think this is about! Change. Those wo want it. Those who don't. What are you doing to be a positive affect?

Peole have been fighting for change for decades, that's how America got where it is today:

Divided, hated, and disentegrating.

They have other priorities, but they like to rant on certain topics. To put it in three words: talk is cheap.

You answered your own question.

People who want change make it happen.

Other people are either happy with things, or whiners.
