Should you post this question in the rap and hip hop section? I don't believe (IMHO) there's been any decent r&b love songs for the last ten years. The music today is all about sex and violence not love for the most part.
I sort of feel sorry for the young people today; most of them really don't know what good music sounds like.
PS I'm a huge fan of R&B and soul of the 50s - mid 90's and have hundreds of those songs in my collection.

well, I like all kinds of music...
"prostitute flange" by lil wayne is good (i know it sounds dirty but its not).."
"you got me" by the roots is another great song....
some keith sweat...
i really like the 311's "love song"
and theres alot more but i cant remember riht now, sorry
