what does it mean when u see lights flying around?

sometimes ill just be doing normal stuff or driveing and then its kinda like lightning bug i guess u would say but its just specs of light that fly around and i was just wondering if something was wrong with my eyes or my head ?

Have your blood pressure checked..... it can also be a sign of what they refer to as a TIA which is sort of a mini stroke.... the affects usually don't last.... But I would definately go see a doctor either way you need some medical attention.

Well, my retinologist has always told me that flashes of light could indicate retina damage. I am not sure if lights flying around are the same thing.

Go and see and eye doctor and get a checkup. Tell the doc about what is happening.

well, it could be a normal thing, or a abnormal thing. im not that much if a eye doctor, but i think its normal to see light flying around. its the light around you that you see flying around. not you eye seeing light flying around. type your question in the website : www. ask.com" to see if it will help. it should explain alot. i dont think theres anything wrong with your head. i think its just the way you are. you are not the only one that has this kind of problem. i kind of have it too. nothing wrong with your eyes too.

I think you are seeing the reflections of white blood cells in the vessels of the retina.
