He was AMAZING! I'm only halfway through his autobiography, and I agree 100%. I particularly like the tax rebate he pulled off as California governor -- pure gold.

He was the greatest says YOU? Granted Carter was nothing to write home about but Reagan was by far not the best either.
CSpan survey of history experts puts Reagan at 11th. You might be surprised at who is rated higher. (Yes Carter is lower).

LOL ........ not even close ........Reagan was a puppet and not even a good one at that. Reagan started the economic policies that crippled the US under Reagan, again with daddy Bush, and now once again with GW. I know many Repubs credit Reagan with ending the cold war almost single handedly but historians disagree.
