I know that you need to be within the top 2% of the nation, but where do you go to join? How much does it cost? What's the break off point for IQ currently?

Different tests use different "IQ scores", so the actual number will vary depending on the test used.

i think the cut off IQ is 144. you can contact a Mensa chapter in your area or online. there are tests you have to take. at that point i'm not sure what happens...
