You could have a blood test to see if you have a thyroid problem or if you are anemic. Are you really pale? When you pull down your lower eye is it white or red. Have you tried going to bed earlier to see if you just palin require more sleep? Are you eating a healthy diet and getting exercise?

Try to stay away from sugar and caffeine. Both give you a short boost, but leaves you sluggish when the buzz wears off. You might be missing some vitamins or minerals. Try to take a one-a-day supplement and see if that helps.
7 or 8 hours is enough for most people, but some need more than that.

There are a multitude of reasons that you are always tired. How is your eating habits. Do you exercise? You could also have sleep apnea and not even know it. With sleep apnea you wake up many many times during the night because you are not breathing properly and that could be the cause. I suggest you consult a doctor.

My boyfriend has the same problem. No matter how much he sleeps, he is tired and yawning when he wakes up. He was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is when a person actually stops breathing temporarily during the night. (This makes your sleeping less restful). It can be quite dangerous. You might want to ask your doctor about this!

Ask your primary care doctor or insurance company for a neurologist who specializes in sleep disorders. While you may believe you are getting seven to eight hours of sleep, your body may not be reaching the REM stage, If you haven't had a physical in a while, you may want the primary care to do a complete blood count and have your blood pressure checked. Good luck.

Do you snore and snort in your sleep or has anyone told you you do? You might have sleep apnea. Lack of oxygen prompts you to wake up several times during the night without you realizing it and thats why you are so tired when you get up. Ask someone watch you sleep or videotape yourself sleeping so you can see for yourself and then mention it to your doctor. Goodluck!

Take a multivitamin every day. Avoid drinking too much caffine. Get plenty of exercise and get at least an hour in the sun every day for the vitamin K your body needs.

it's weird one time you hear one is not getting enough sleep and the other time Too much sleep.
In your case, you're probably getting too much sleep. You need to go to sleep when you're sleepy and drowsy. Am I safe to assume you lay in the bed until you fall asleep? That plays a part of getting too much sleep.
