I'm going to be graduating in front of like thousands and thousands of people and I want my family to be able to find me in the crowd. What can I do to my cap and gown? Glitter? Ribbons? I don't want a Hawaiian lei because it's so over done. I need creative ideas. thanks!

Okay, I have to stand out because it's a University Graduation. There are going to be like 15,000+ plus people there, so it's going to be impossible to find me.

I think by school rules you can't really do anything to the actual gown and cap. Try wearing a colorful pair of heels.. I wore a bright pink that matched my dress.. My family and friends didn't have a hard time finding me at all!

Bright red pumps (if you can wear heels at graduation) and for the correction for the guy who said you have to give the gown and cap back, you dont HAVE to give it back. They let you keep it for memories but it really does depend on the school

you can decorate your cap by getting elmers glue and writing out like "class of 07" or watever your year is, and then before the glue dries, sprinkle it with your school colors glitter to make it show! I did that with mine, and you could also write something like *we did it!!* or *its all over!* or somehting...and maybe for ur gown u could get a cute ribbon to put around the middle or something...but dont do any glitter or anything to the gown it might make it stiff! hope this helps

i also agree with a lot of people here wear crazy bright shoes. and i also agree with the girl that said the whole point of the graduation is to look the same. lol i would wear the shoes.

How about a giant fruit basket (fake fruit) --like Carmen Miranda?
OR a HUGE YELLOW CHICKEN, yeah, that'd stand out in a crowd!

I had my graduation last week and all of my friends and I got neon-colored little kid sunglasses and wore them with bright-colored beads to have fun and stand out.

Flourescent orange tape, make an X or circle on the top of you cap or stripes across your shoulders. .

i would say a cheap pair of white or any shoes pumps or heels then customize them it will look fab i promise xxxx also they will be cheap so u can throw them but you will not need to as long they are done nicly xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Hannah xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just tell them where you are going to be sitting, you will know after graduation practice, and tell them to bring some binoculars!
