(Just when I think I've heard it all, some questions/answers make my jaw drop, eyebrows hit the roof, scream/hoot with laughter, sad, confused, thoughtful, p*$$ed off...)

i think its because i can give my exaggerated views on things...cause i think i am an odd mix of the most selfish narcisistic thing and a buhddist monk that has left it all behind giving answers straight from universal love...

I enjoy earning points by giving intellegent answers based upon what I know (music, TV, books) and other things that fascinate me (law enforcement.) It always makes me happy when I score ten points for a best answer.
Some things I don't like about it are the idiots who ask ridiculous, meaningless questions, or rage-filled people who need to shout anti-police crap in the Law Enforcement and Police section. Have some respect, people in the latter category!

What I enjoy is the fact that I can help someone. NOT everyone mind you, BUT SOMEONE. There are some serious questions here and someone has asked the question for a reason. I do enjoy answering the ones that I actually have some knowledge in. The asker may actually choose to go with mine and if this happens then I know that I have helped someone. There are many many people here who do have knowledge and we may not agree. BUT that doesn't make me right or them right. it sometimes comes down to opinion/s

The best thing about Y!A to me is getting to know different perspectives....! It's always an eye-opener. It really broadens my mind and also helps me compare my viewpoint with others to see how common or uncommon my views are. It's just a great learning tool in self-discovery as well as outside-of-self discovery. :-)

I used to chat on ITV.com, but it got so personal and offensive, even though the techies police it, sometimes they are just not quick enough. This is so much nicer. I only dicovered it, by mistake when looking for something else. Its lovely to get answers to your questions and some people are really thoughtful and kind.

Certain sections of Yahoo Answers are way more fun then others. Polls and Surveys tops the cake although there will be the occasional rude answerer or jerk who answers your questions as well as everybodies questions for that matter.

Some people think they deserve answers on a silver platter we the people looking for that 10 points give it to them

I agree, I usually like it in P&S because it is fun, but when the reporters are out and people are being rude and nasty, I just stop and come back later! lol
