No, elephant seals are to prevent trunk cancer, you know, like Easter Seals for lung cancer.

Seriously, elephant seals are just whopping big seals. Especially the males, which are so large that they sometimes crush females to death while they are mating. They also have these weird noses that hang down in front of their mouths and might look sort of like a trunk.

No they eat fish. They are called Elephant seals because of the shape of their noses.
