Pres. Bush is a master of staying ahead of the times. He knows that Global Warming is going to happen but he can not let the people of the USA panic and stop the good economy.
He also knows that there is no way to stop people coming in from Mexico so he is coming up with a way to find out who is here and get them signed up so they will have to pay taxes.
Also, he knows that NUKES will be used in the future by some nations like Iran or North Korea so he has to keep fighting a NON-NUKE war again Islam until such time that he can move the troops over to the REAL NEEDED fight to destroy the Nukes in Iran. We must keep the troops close to be able to move into Iran.

He hasn't been assassinated yet... we won't be able to truly analyze all of his decisions until we know all of the facts in some twenty or thirty years.
Just remember that the country hasn't split apart because of him (cough...Abraham Lincoln), no one has tried to assassinate him (cough...Abraham Lincoln) and no one liked a certain president (cough...Abraham Lincoln) until after he was long dead and now he is one of the few presidents to get a huge monument in Washington, DC (cough...Abraham Lincoln)...
I fully expect to get lots of thumbs downs for this one. If not, I will be thoroughly dissapointed with the liberal world for not living up to their reputation of ignoring facts and historical trends.
I wish we could stop talking about his grades for a minute. Barely passing at Yale is better (in speaking for one's intelligence) than being Valedictorian of most State &/or Tech schools. In other words, getting accepted into Yale is more impressive than graduating with full honors from wherever your high school teachers went to. You are absolutely correct sir! On the money. Forget all those people that bash him and say he is an idiot just because he was failing college. They dont know what they are talking about. So what if all his business ventures have failed, that is just because he had the wrong people managing things for him. That whole business with the savings and loan scandal in the 80's, totally not his fault. How can anyone expect to follow all the numerous rules the SEC puts out?
The global warming thing you are on the mark about. That is why his science staff has been altering scientific findings to say global warming is not happening because it would damage the economy and industry. He knew that a strong oil industry far out weighs any global concern as why Texas is one of the most polluted states as a badge of honor to his legacy.
Also that whole business with Enron sponsoring his presidential campaign so he would deregulate electricity in the west, he was suckered into that. He honestly felt people wanted a choice of electrical companies. How was he to know that the millions he got from Ken Lay was a not without a condition. How could he possibly know what Enron was up to?
My hats off to you sir, you are an intelligent being and I only wish there were more like you. Because those stupid liberals are only good for keeping airplanes out of buildings.

President Bush is a master at doing whatever Dick Cheney and Karl Rove tell him to do. He has never been successful unless he was a puppet to some smarter but less folksy politico. I think as a nation we would be much better off is Bush would fire Rove, ignore Cheney, and govern from his own instincts. At least he would do less harm, if no real good.

While he is not the dumbest he is far from being the smartest. His best grade in college was a c. Woodrow Wilson had a PhD and Bill Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar. Thomas Jefferson founded the University of Virginia.

It's hard to say if he is the smartest. Whatever happened to Osama Bin Laden, who planned 911. He was never caught and as a matter of fact he hated Saddam, yet Sadam was hanged. Maybe Iraq was never our so called enemies as he claims they are.
