about every cafe there is an outside sign of some sort telling that they serve Taco! Is the taco the National Food of the Hispanic population? How are they made? Are there many different kinds?

im mexican and taco bell tacos are american style tacos
i go every year to mexico and i never seen a taco with lettuce and tomato
a taco is... soft shelled tortilla with meat ranging chicken to beef to goat and pig with chopped onions and cilantro and hot sauce and some lemon juice squeezed on top. thats a taco!

Just a regular taco is made with spicy ground beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, shredded cheese inside a taco shell. There are variations, such as a fajita taco, chicken taco, etc.

NOOO tacos are not the national food of hispanic population.....tacos you find at places at taco bell are usually made american style........in Central America tacos are chopped grilled meat wrapped around a corn torilla with cilantro and onions with hot suace.....thryre great
