Children must play(news of the day) Life is so very short. The ans is probably not. But yes we are all going to die sooner or later. We should only worry about what we have control over. It's politics and these two are not stupid enough to end the world. Go for a nice walk and watch the sun rise. Fear not, you will be hear for a long time to come. Peace :)

I am 50 and growing up we always had the real threat of nuclear war; in Kindergarten, we were scared out of our minds when the sirens would go off weekly for practice; we had to huddle in some cement cubby ; were taught to look for the bomb shelters with the triangles on them in case we were at different locations; in any society at any time, when there are mad men , there are always going to be threats; Hitler ruled with fear as well as all dictators; we as a democratic society need to take that freedom and exercise it to not allow politicians to have their personal gain before service ; to vote, to volunteer , to protest , to have your voice heard no matter how long; when we sit at home and do nothing , war is even more imminent. The best well to circumvent war is to get involved so a few nuts don't make decisions for all of us; our forefathers gave us impeachment but we are afraid to use it when it is really necessary; we watch the clock tick tock and do nothing

If the Commies take Europe, they will have to deal with the "Chetchnia" (sp) Muslim mess that it has become. Rumor has it that Russians blew up counter-revolutionaries (only 300 or so in their apartments) and blamed it on their very own Muslim messers ,the Chetchnians. We always wondered why the Russians had so many "Stans"...the Chectnians want to be just one more...then another group will be just one more,etc.

No, you are in luck! The ancient Chinese and Aztec calenders both go up to the year 2012............. and then just stop. Astronomers acknowledge there is supposed to be a very odd shift in the poles that year. So, relax a bit!!!!! You have 5 years to prepare!
