How do you fix a hole in a wooden door? It's not really a wooden door it's more like a (look at details)

I have anger issues and I punched a hole in my door. The doors not really wood, its like fiber wood or something. When I punched it, it was like a punched a thin wall and there is this space in between my door. Anyways, how do I fix this? I really need some advice please.

Well the bad news is, we had a door like that on our bathroom, and my son put a hole in it goofing around. We couldn't fix it. Good news is we found one at a yard sale for $5.00 and painted it and put that up. It's really quite impossible to fix those doors without it looking shody. Sorry!

wood filler if the door still has yet to be painted, my guess is not ;as its a door from the late 50's and is very common hollow door, and in most cases not painted. However; if its painted your in luck, plaster will work well for this type of repair, and the paint hides it so no-one would ever know unless they remove the paint or have a similar hole to fix in the same area...if the hole is very big your out of luck and will have to cover the cost of a new door...wood filler is just a fix and won't hide it....hope this helps...

You can always put some brown duct tape over the hole, or once I bought a piece of paneling over the whole side of the door! A new hollow core door costs about 40 bucks at home depot!

It is possible to do an invisible mend on this hollow kind of door - I suspect you'll need someone to show you how to do it because I'm having difficulty thinking of the right way to describe what I mean that would make it understandable to someone without DIY experience.
You may find it quicker and cheaper to acquire a new door, or a salvaged door to replace it.

GO TO HOME DEPOT AND BUY SOMETHING THATS CALLED Wood-Solv™ ITS WOOD PUTTY BASICLLY YOU WILL PUT A SQUARE OF CLOTH LIKE MATERIAL OVER THE HOLE THEN YOU PUT THE PUTTY OVER THE MATERIAL AND THIN IT OUT TILL IS THIN ENOUGH TO COVER THE HOLE ND IT WILL DRY AND THATS IT HOPEFULY THE DOOR IS WHITE CAUSE IF ITS NOT THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO PAINT GOOOOD LUCK DUDE!!!
