for your home decor, and when you show them the picture they do not comment on it, either positive or negative, is that basically telling me they dont like it?

Yes, usually no comment means that they don't care for it but don't want to tell you in case you may feel hurt. I would just ignore it. As long as you like it, everything should be fine.

I agree with Christine and Artemis but would like to add a bit more: Don't describe this as rape to ANYONE unless or until your blood work comes back and shows you were given a date rape drug. Artemis is correct that a prosecutor won't file charges in a case like this - because a criminal defense attorney would treat you like a punching bag with these kinds of questions: Isn't it true my client had previously asked you out on a date? Isn't it true you knew my client had a romantic interest in you? Isn't it true you went to a bar and allowed another male coworker to buy you drinks? Isn't it true that after consuming a significant amount of alcohol at the first bar you walked to a second bar where you were served additional drinks? Isn't it true that the second bar was where you work? Isn't it true that bars are not permitted to serve someone who is obviously intoxicated? Isn't it true that a bar that over serves patrons can lose their liquor license? Isn't it true that you were not obviously intoxicated when you were served at the second bar? (Do you get my drift? I would go on and explain how your morning-after regret is the driving force behind the rape allegation because you didn't want to be considered "slutty" at work, but I'm hoping you can see where I am going. Your credibility would be mush by the end of the cross examination - and it is for this reason no prosecutor would put you through this experience when a conviction simply wouldn't happen.) BUT, if you walk around accusing this guy of rape - you can be accused of defamation. If he loses his job, he could sue you. And with the prosecutor's office refusing to file charges - you would be vulnerable. You could also be fired - for creating too much drama at work . . . and because you will essentially be accusing your employer of serving an obviously intoxicated person. I am giving you this lecture because I want you to think very carefully about what you will do and what you will say. Frankly, finding a different job might be a good idea. But regardless, I hope you realize that this could have been much, much worse. Some young women in your situation don't survive the experience.

They might be indifferent, or just not like it and not want to hurt your feelings. Let them know that you value their opinion and you won't be sad if they say they don't like it.
