Did they take the Cleveland Cavaliers for granted? Is it just me or did they turn into the 2004 lakers who showed the same attitude toward them not too long ago? Do you think the Pistons lost their edge?

Yep. The Pistons are a very peculiar team in that they don't have a killer instinct, but instead a survival instinct. They play horribly when they are the favorite but play extremely well when they're the underdog.

Personally, I believe they could have come out of the East if not for their incompetent coach, Flip Saunders. Larry Brown had a less deep team and got them a championship and another Finals appearance, while Flip can't even get them to the Finals despite having the best record in the East two years straight. Something is fundamentally wrong with his coaching style; just ask the Minnesota Timberwolves. This is simply unacceptable. Fire the coach!

I'm a Pistons fan, and I have to admit they're arrogant and not nearly as good as they think they are. Change the coach and the team mentality and maybe they might reach their potential again before the window shuts.

Well, they certainly displayed a lack of cohesiveness, which I believe actually began in game 4 against Chicago. This is the 2nd year they've had a sort of meltdown in the playoffs which is why I think this team is due for some changes.

yeah the pistons got cocky and thought they had to only worry about one guy and that they could contain that one guy but they coulddnt and then boobie gibson added salt to the wound, the pistons should be imbarrased to lose that series

For sure! They thought the Cavs would just roll over and let them win and that wasn't the case
