Workers rush home at the end of their day,
Children stop the games that they play.
Birds stop flying and go to their nest,
Even the sun sinks slowly in the west.
Families in their homes all draw near,
Darkness is falling nothing to fear.
Stars are twinkling high up above,
God holds us in His hand with love.

Yes I can. But I won't. This is called "cheating." Some of the people who answered your question have given you good advice. Here's some more: you'll never get anywhere in life if you cheat. Now here's some better advice. Find a subject you are interested in. Re-read your class notes. Read a few poems in your textbook or take out a book of poetry from the library. Then, grow up and do your own work!

No, I can't. Many of the people who answered are offering wise advice. Besides, your teacher may realize you've cheated, and that would be terrible. More importantly, even if you did get away with it (cheating, that is), you'll probably feel guilty.
You might be surprized that you actually have some poetry within you. Do you like animals, a sport, a favorite place, a loved one, such as a parent, cousin, grandparent, a teacher? Any subject you feel strongly about will do.No, it doesn't have to rhyme. Just include some images (words that appeal to the senses) and have fun! You may end up being a famous poet!!! As Shakespeare once wrote, "To thine own self be true" (Hamlet)

No! It's meant to be YOUR poem.

Just posting for help on a site is not going to get you anywhere.

You're obviously asking because you don't have confidence in your skills as a poet.

But if you just take the easy way out, your poetry skills will never improve!

Find a classmate willing to HELP you write a good poem, or go to your teacher.

Only you can accomplish writing a poem that is unique to yourself and yours alone. No one else, no matter how great their skills are, can never write what you can write.

If you are having trouble writing a poem, I suggest that you try for a strong beat or rhyme in your poem; that way you'll have fun writing it. Also, if you are having trouble deciding what to write about, a common, convincing, and easy to write about topic is pain, suffering, or death.

Good luck, and you are sure to produce a unique, personal poem if you take it slow and build upon description.

Aw this makes me sad! You can learn so much about yourself writing poetry! Just give it a try... You might actually like it. Someone suggested a haiku...try that. Just 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second line, and 5 in the last line. No rhyming required. Your young mind is the best at doing this stuff, I promise.

No i'm not going to do it for you but, if it doesn't have to be a specific poem maybe try writing a Haiku they are pretty easy.

Try to write about things you know about or are interested in. The poem doesn't have to ryme. Just write about things you know.

No. This isn't for doing your homework. Try your best and write it yourself. Don't be lazy, and don't be scared.
