I have a bill collecter that calls my house every day and he asks for a person thats not me.Every day I tell him he has the wrong number but he keeps calling so finally i started putting my 3 year old on the phone with him and guess what? He finally stopped calling :)

I had one calling for some guy every day at 8:00 AM and again at 8:00PM, after 2 weeks of it, I got fed up and blew a whistle into the phone, that stopped them.

I did that in '88 when we first moved in, but the other way around. People would call us thinking it was the collections agency for a defunct retain chain called Lechmere Sales. I used to work there (and they sucked) and I kept calling to get it fixed. They never did, so, after a while, I'd just tell the person to tear up the bill and not bother paying it.
Lechmere went out of business in 1999.

I had some guy call my house every day for about a week looking for the same girl..I kept saying he had the wrong number but he'd call back a couple of hours later....finally I said she moved away

I have a bill collecter that calls everyday, but asking for me! lol it gets pretty annoying and I usually just reject them, or answer and not say anything and eventually they hang up!

I always start a long conversation with them and I try not to let them hang up on me but they always do anyway & they never even call back..

i do collection calls,and if i get a wrong # that i know is a wrong # - i remove the #. people give false information all the time .... he sounds daft.i wouldn't want to waste my time.

I used to, I cussed him out, then he quit calling.
Man that was SO annoying.
