I want to work at McDonald's as a cashier, can I do that only? Or do I have to cook and clean? How old do I have to be? Is 15.5 years with a work permit okay in CA?

You should call the place, they'll be able to give you those answers before you even apply. As for the cooking and cleaning, if you're a counter person, you won't be cooking, but cleaning is also part of the job.

I'm not sure about your state law, but I worked at McD's when I was 16. You will have to clean, maybe cook, depending on what that particular store needs. Pay will likely be minimum wage.

It's not that bad if you convince a friend or two to come work there with you.

I don't think that McDonalds hire 14 year olds..I am positive that they hire 15 year olds (but you have to have a pemit signed by your parents, school, and mcdonalds)...they pay minunum wage.

You get minimum wage and must be 16 in California. You probably will be a cashier or cook or clean, any one of those three, they'll most likely let you choose.

Be a kid, there nothing fun or great about working. Its exhausting. After you get into it ur gonna have to start paying ur own bills. (ex. cell phone or car insurance) Cool it and relax while you can.
