small brown bird, yellow beak, white and red spotted eggs. What kind of bird is it. What can I do, I have 3 dogs, all have caught birds before. They havent noticed the hatchlings yet, just hatched this morning. Is there anything I can do to insure there health and safety?

Animal shelter will not be a help. Baby birds are EXTREMELY difficult to hand raise. You need to make sure that a flying bird has access to the nest and that the dogs don't. That's all you can do. They should be moving away pretty soon, out of reach and the parents will do their best to protect them until they can fly on their own. Just keep your dogs under control and let nature take its course.

take them to the animal shelter, better yet call the animal shelter to come get them
