ostensibly it is to protect us and our allies from a nuclear threat posed by Iran. Of course there is no threat from Iran and the missile defense system has systematically failed every time it has been tested -- so -- I suppose some buddies of his stand to make a whole lotta money on the contracts involved. Plus a little more fear in the world is good for his type of business.

The Czechs are our allies, and have asked for our assistance in protecting their country. Putin's recent threats just reaffirm the believe that our enemies will attack anyone associated with us when we aid them . . . When the cold war they did not stop developing Nuclear weapons, Iran is currently in the process, along with Korea . . . I am sure a couple of others . . . if we have the techonology to aid an ally, how is it trying to stir up drama or get us into another war?

This is also to counter Russia's secret underground nuclear facility , they started amping it up in the late 90's , I cant remember the name , its Russian , but its in the Southeast part of Russia in the mountains , Plus when the Russians and Americans disarmed 1500 nukes apiece , (America paid for theirs too) the ones disarmed in Czech were secretly and quickly replaced.
Google search Russian underground nuclear facility, its there equivelant of our Cheyenne Mountain command center

Iran has missles. They are building nukes, they hate the west. A missle at at England likely would fly by or near the Czech Republic.
Do not forget, the Czech government asked for this assurance to their freedom. They wanted the missle defense or troops. This is cheaper for US.

Thoughts with regard to Peace-Convergence 2007
http://www.peaceconvergence.com
Why we have to cry out for Peace again, after Vietnam, Korea and the two World Wars which supposedly were the wars to finish all the Wars and make peace forever? Because if you find out who leads this illegal - & unjust war in IRAQ you will find that the ancestors of those leaders were also behind WW1 & WW2 and that’s why you cry out for peace again.
Retired US-Army Captain and critique of the US-war in Iraq, Mr. Eric May, concluded: “The main-stream-media, now owned by corporations that are part of the industrial complex, are selling the American people a bill of goods for the sole purpose of corporate profits from the war.” Read his complete conclusion and serve to humanity on: http://www.adelaideinstitute.org/Dissenters1/Toben/toben_may0.htm
When John, Rudyard Kipling’s only son died in 1915 at the Battle of Loos, Kipling wrote: “If any question why we died/ Tell them, because our fathers lied”

Hopefully there will be a revolt of US-Army-Officers against the Government in the USA, like the Federal Reserve – caper of former US-Navy-Captain James von Brunn. See it on: http://www.holywesternempire.org/fed-caper.html
One of these War-Leaders who won WW2 was the richest private Bank of the World in the thirties, namely Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., (Stakeholders in the Federal Reserve-Bank of US-America). The losers of that war were not only the Labourers of Germany, but the Labourers everywhere. Prescott Bush (Grandfather of today’s US-President) was managing-partner of this company which not only was involved in financing the Allied War, but also the Nazi-Party and later Stalin and the US-Vietnam-War. I was wondering that too. In the 21st century we should all be civilize people and rather than focussing on more weapons of destruction we should be focussing on peace talks.
