If you can find one. They are dying at over 1000 per day now and soon there will be none left and then the revisionist historians will try to say that none of it ever happened in the first place or that the American were the aggressors.

I visit the VA hospital and give small gifts to the WWII veterans that are still there, but there number is dwindling.

I figure that the youngest WWII vets are in their early 80s.

I thanked a veteran across the street from me who served in the 164th Regiment, AmeriCal Division in the South Pacific. His unit formed 65 years ago on April 28th of this year; he fought nearly 2.5 years before D-Day. He sat near President Bush during the 60th Anniversary of D-Day in 2004 in Normandy France.

I appreciate the service these men and women bring to our nation. I myself am also a Veteran, but feel my place is yet to be realized; therefore, I prefer to thank others. Great question, I am going to star you on this!

Have a great day!

My uncle was 82nd airborne and part of that generation that, rightly so, is called America's greatest generation.

If I knew any, I would in a heartbeat. You'll notice none of the major news sources have said so much as a peep about it being D-Day (and yet they can go and spend pages and pages just gushing about "Black History Month" or something... Just saying).
