What are the Seven Wonders?

How were they chosen?

Aren't there the current wonders and then the ancient wonders?

Thanks so much for any answers you have!

Any other info you know would also be appreciated!

The Original list is often referred to as the 7 wonders of the Ancient World

Great Pyramid of Giza, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Temple of Artemis, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Mausoleum of Maussollos, Colossus of Rhodes and the Lighthouse of Alexandria

Only the Great Pyramids still exist.

But the idea of the list has always been copied. There are 7 wonders of Nature, Modern (Engineering), Middle Ages, and a New list that they you can vote on.

There were many lists of seven wonders historically, but the one that has survived to this day is from Antipater of Sidon and lists the ancient wonders as,

The Pyramids at Giza
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
The Colossus of Rhodes
The Pharos at Alexandra

There are many "new" lists proposed by various committees, but the one most people are talking about is the one that I have linked below.
