The best part of marriage is loving someone and them loving you back just as much, your being the very best of friends and always being for each other. Liking each other no matter what each other's faults. The extra beat of your heart when you see them after being together so many years, it only gets better and stronger....your smiles to each other across the room, the simple touch of the hand, marriage if right is the most wonderful thing there is in this world and the children are just an added bonus, but always make special time for your mate!

Is the best part of marriage before the kids come along or..?
I don't know after 2months of marriage our first was born and now after 18yrs still have a 15yr old at home. I can't wait to find out though.
What is the best part of marriage? not being alone, but the worst is not being alone. gotta take the good with the bad i guess or at least that's what i was told by a couple married for over 50yrs.

I think every part is the best. If you start identifying segments of time in a marriage as bad vs. good then you are focusing on the wrong thing.

The best part of my marriage has been after my daughter was born, sure my husband and I don't have as much time alone anymore, but we have so much fun with our girl it is more than worth it.

The best part of marriage is sharing your entire life with someone you would die for without hesitation.

knowing you have a person besides you who will share your experiences, your pain and sorrow, and will be reinforced with the knowledge that someone loves you more than you love yourself. Also, that someone appreciates you and wants to make you a happy person. {<>_ <>} hehe, I'm not even married, nor do I want to...Just Paranoia, my mom was abused, and I'll have an arranged marriage, and I don't want to go through all that abuse.

Knowing that my husband always will be there for me and love me always, and I am there for him. He is my best friend in the whole world and I can't imagine my life without him.
We don't have kids yet so I can't speak to that.
