My hubby wants it for father's day and I ordered it off of amazon but I'm just wondering if anyone has played it and liked it. Currently he is playing Gears of War and Crackdown. Thanks!

What the heck does my profile photo have to do with this? Yes, it's current.

To answer your question... two things to consider. (I'll answer unbiased even though I think Microsoft is evil for making a game that will only use their new broken windows version to run it)

#1 you have to have windows vista to play it.. so you have to have a fairly recent computer.

#2 in order to play it with the graphics settings where they are in all the advertisements.. you have to have a dual core processor or dual processor that supports windows vista.

If you don't have either of those I'd say it's discussion closed.

If you do, then another thing to consider is the fact that both crackdown and gears of war are pretty good games. You're a sweetheart for buying them for him to begin with.

I'd make him do some dishes, maybe give you a few massages or mow the lawn before you get him another time-sink game!

:)

I own it and love it, as does one of my friends (the only one who has also bought a 360 at this point). Everyone I talk to inside the game seems to enjoy it as well. I enjoyed playing both Crackdown and Gears of War also.

Here's a few reviews of the game if you're curious about other's impressions of the game. :)

Gears and Crackdown are both great and I would reccomend Rainbow Six: Vegas to your husband. It is a great game and easily worth th $60. Also Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is a stellar game.

Yea, its a fun game. It might be more of a rental. It's a First Person Shooter and a Third person shooter both at the same time, and that appeals to a lot of people. The game is only meant for on line play only. so if your not on line with his 360, it might not be the best choice... The game is fun though. Lots of good killing, fast paced, good graphics. He'll like it, i wouldn't worry.

I don't think any game is worth $60 dollars.
