I'm thinking it's the Patriots. Damn...I don't like the Patriots, but I have to admit it. They have a lot of talent now...wow. I'm a Charger fan and I'm hoping the Chargers defeat the Patriots this year. Philip Rivers is still developing and has been through the toughest defensive packages so hopefully he won't struggle next year. Lets see if the Ravens defense is as good as it was last year. If the defense is just as good, then the Ravens are with the Chargers and Patriots. I just don't think the Colts will go back to the Super Bowl. They're definitely not as good as the Ravens, Chargers, and Patriots because of their disgusting defense. If they improve that run defense, then there will be some good competition.

What about you guys?

I love the Colts and I think they've got a good chance of getting to the Superbowl but they'll have to get past the Chargers. The Patriots seem to be winding down right now. The Colts got lucky when they didn't have to play the Chargers last year. The Chargers are going to be a hell of alot better this year unless something unexpected happens (Ladanian Tomlinson is out for the season, something like that). The Ravens are really good but they need to work on offense. It was just sad when they played the Colts. I will admit that the Colts run defense was hard to watch in the regular season, but they were incredible in the playoffs. I'd like to blame it all on Bob Sanders. He didn't play regular season. Well overall the Chargers are going to be really hard to beat next year and I was suprised they didn't make it to the Superbowl. Well, good luck with your Chargers. Go Colts.

Lots of fear of the Patriots in here. Let's not forget that the Colts won the superbowl last year, and I think something clicked in Manning's head during the postseason that should strike terror in opposing teams. When he came out on the field in the second half of that Patriots game he looked focused and pissed off. That man is magic when he's on, and with his recieving corps he is damn near unbeatable.

The only defense has been to rattle him. Get him frustrated and let him mentally beat himself.

But he pulled it together against the most confusing defense in NFL history (Patriots.)

So here is a scary question: What if Peyton can't be rattled anymore?

Who's the team to beat now?

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!

OK laugh but I'm serious. Playoff team last year WITHOUT A RUNNING BACK!! Now we have super-bowl-caliber Thomas Jones. Also upgraded at CB and OLB in the draft.

Meanwhile the Pats roleld the dice on a WR who admittedly gives up on routes, which is completely contrary to thier team philosophy and will disrupt thier offense. he also doesn't run block very well.

The Chargers and Colts will be our biggest threats. I'm not a Philip Rivers fan nor a Joseph Addai fan so that's why I'm saying JETS ALL THE WAY, BABY!

The Ravens lost Adalious Thomas, he was a big part of that defense. The Pats have to be the teeam to beat unless someone gets hurt. I hate them but they have a huge talent upgrade with Thomas on D and Moss and Stallworth on the outsides catching balls. It should be an interesting season. The colts are the champs too, so you have to give them the respect they earned last year.

The Patriots are for the next few years going to be in contention. As long as you got Tom "dead beat" Brady at the helm he's always going to give you a chance to win. I also think you can never count out the Denver Broncos. There is no competition in the west so it's the Broncos for now. The dark horse has to be the New York Jets.

I'm goning to have to go with the DENVER BRONCOS, Travis Henry in the backfield. Dre Bly and Champ Bailey at the corner, who is going to throw, plus John Lynch as the Enforcer. Not even Tom Brady can get a pass deep down, hes scared of Champ Bailey. The plays designed when they play the broncs is to avoid Bailey, and now we got Bly. Shoe in for Super Bowl. And don't forget about up and coming star Jay Cutler. With a running game this year, the passing game is just going to dominate.

Sadly, the past few years the Patriots have been the team to beat. Everyone fears the Patriots. Every other dominant team in the AFC has some sort of rivalry with them. I personally hate the Patriots but i respect their constant dominance.

The patriots. Their linebacker core group is unstoppable, consisting of Adalius Thomas, Tedi Bruschi, Mike Vrabel, Colvin, Junior Seau. The offense was boosted with the signings of Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker. The offensive line has been dominant for years, as has the DL.

the pat are ******* stacked right now. if they get a good running back they could do major work. ravens are still super on d and their running game should help their passing game with willis back there. chargers still gonna be good but ill take the pats all day. colts should have gone for d in the draft no need for anthony gonzalez. pats
