Yes. My husband couldn't afford one when we got married. But we still got married. It wasn't the ring. I trust him and know that he doesnt have to wear one to be mine and me his.

Yes, the paper proves your married, it means things are all legal. But the ring has a significant' symbol. The ring means unity, that's why it's round....no beginning and no end. It means that you are one, fused together, you can't tell where he leaves off and you begin and yes, I would marry him without a ring, but I would be very hurt if I never got one. I have a lovely - expensive diamond engagement ring - but my plain, not-so-expensive wedding band means more to me than anything. Sometimes I wear it alone - and my husband will ask where my diamond is (I think he feels as if he paid so much for it I should wear it) - but truly I love just wearing the band alone sometimes - because of what it symbolizes. So just ask your guy to buy you at least a band. Ask him to repeat his promises to you and then put it on your finger...tell him it's more than just a piece of jewelry, and it is, so much more than that. Good luck.

Depends on the reason he is not producing a ring. The ring is the sign you wear on your hand to say you are married. Everyone knows without asking. You both should have wedding rings. If it is a matter of cost, their are inexpensive silver or gold bands that work quite well. Ask him why no rings.

I would marry him without a ring, but I would ask for one. I know it sounds materialistic, but I want one. I want to know that I am WORTH a nice ring to him. My first husband bought a cheap little $99 diamond that turned my finger green. My second husband used some lame excuse about people dieing in diamond and gold mines and he didn't want to support that. He was just being selfish and cheap. He didn't mind it when his $35K music studio sported alot of gold later one. We got divorced. Buy the girl a ring already. It is a symbol of your love and your committment.

If its the paper then why worry. Apparentlly its bothering u, I was not engaged until I got my ring and would not tell anyone I was. Just because its the thought it doesn't have to be expensive, thats not what its about. So marry him if u love him say something if it bothers you.

No !!!!! A piece of paper ddoesn't prove anything unless you are in some type legal situation. Whether you are truly married or not is in your hearts, in your level of commitment to each other

Depends on how you feel about that. If you are having doubts, don't get married yet.
