Actually, you're "supplied" a penny in your ideas. If you set your 2 cents in, that makes 2 cents and one penny. They don't seem to be the equal incidentally because Great Briton has pennies and no cents whilst the US has cents and no pennies. There's my 2 cents. .

I think the 2 cents is a fine for unsolicited or bad advice.
