I was wondering,

I have a shared computer at work.

I am doing a bit of investigating on a member of staff as she has been abusing the internet.

I went onto control panel, user accounts, I am set as the computer administrator on there.

I clicked on her account and it is giving me the option to changer her password.... it says that I do not need her password, as I am the administrator I can do anything on it, it says TYPE NEW PASSOWRD, then again to confirm.

It it then advising me that if I do that, i WILL lose all EFS encrypted files, the pesonal cerificates and something else.

What exactly will I lose, will I lose all the internet history if I change the password?

if it is XP, it will delete all Internet cookies as well as the temporary files(files from web pages that are downloaded to make that same page load faster next time, or stuff that you downloaded, but didn't save...like a movie on YouTube) also, it will clear any passwords that are saved on web pages and it will log you out...but it won't delete the history.
i know all of this because it happened to me on my home PC before and it is really annoying, so try to check the account without changing the password, if you can.
If not this should work

most likely will lose nothing. Lookup EFS (Encrypted File System) it means if she had encrypted files (very unlikely) these files are not recoverable.
