I think that they get some kind of commission or something , you're right they always do that!

They might not exactly be doing that, but trying to advise you to get a "plan B" in case things don't work out as you planned. A plan B that you can also be happy with.
I have a student who is 13 years old and wants to be a famous rapper or a basketball star, but in reality he is not that good at either one of those things and to be a star at either one of those things you have to be much better than mediocre. So I try to gently explain to him that his dreams are fine, HOWEVER, even if he is not famous, he can still have a happy, worthwhile life, AND make good money by doing something more realistic.
Everyone has dreams, but talent is what will really make you a star.
I just want him to stay in reality a little.
I do not know of the websites you speak of though.

Because they can usually tell if you're really cut out for that kind of career. Most kids just choose something because it's glamorous or cool. Not really what their talents would require. Teachers usually know you well enough to make a decent judgment call.
