that you should eat him. no just kidding. i love rabbits. thats really sad, i dont know, but you should have had a ceremony for him and buried him. thats sad... :( my hamster died recently his name was gus gus and it was really sad. His gf bit him, and he got an infection. :(

there is an extremely narrow connection between eggs and Easter in that the egg is a logo for delivery and regeneration in religious paintings (resurrection and rebirth of Jesus). Easter became initially a pagan spring competition way earlier the delivery of Christ. i think most of the textile party (the eggs, the chocolate) has extra to do with the pagan section than the Christian one. as an example, in France, the eggs come from those vast church bells (as they ring the eggs supposedly bathe down). In (the Flemish portion of) Belgium, the place we live, the Paas Haas, or Easter Hare (no longer rabbit however the extra beneficial hare) brings eggs and chocolate figures.
