Temporary? Nope.

My version:

Suicide, a solution to the problem.

I would sooner try running away, changing my name or asking for help.....all problems have solutions we just don't like the solutions sometimes

Well suicide is permanent but the underlying cause isn't necessarily a temporary problem. Some problems in life can't be solved or reconciled. You just have to find a way to live with them. And some people struggle with these issues on a daily basis and so after years, maybe decades it just takes something to push them over that final step. After all if there is no light at the end of the tunnel why keep going? But it's not an actual solution to the problem, just a way of getting rid of it.

Almost all problems are temporary - - Suicide is permanent.. so I'd say yes to your question.

Suicide is NEVER a solution. It's a cop-out, running away and not dealing with your situation. There's always a solution to a problem. One just has to hang tough until the solution is found and implemented.

IMO suicide is always an option, and often a solution; but the fact that you are here says to me that maybe you are open to other solutions as well.
suicide happens when ones problems outweigh their ability to cope. so.. anything that enhances your coping ability will help tip the scale - that could be anything from a fond memory, to a talk with someone who understands your pain, to focussing on one moment at a time... life may be unbearable, but one minute of life can be borne... and then perhaps another.
all things are temporary... including life itself

That is not the right words to put it, but as you did, if as my dad succeeded in committing suicide his was permanent end to his problems, and a start of new problems for family and friends. My sister is still having the worst time putting pieces of her life together, myself I am with Survivors of Suicide. A group of others who have lost someone to such an act.

A high cost from Dec.2005, one problem solved, more created by the same act.

I know this isn't probably what you want to hear, but you should probably see a counselor or psychologist or find someone you can trust to talk to. Whatever problem you are facing can be fixed. If I knew more about the problem I would be able to help you more, but suicide is never an answer to anything. Just remember, someone else out there has it worse than you. Email me if anything.

WRONG!!! Suicide is NEVER the solution. You'll miss out on maybe the best times of your life. It's never worth it. You're not going to commit suicide a you? I'll make it simple: NO! SUICIDE BAD!

who are you trying to get back at and hurt?
I had a friend who went thru a divorce, he threatened suicide, drank, and would not let people help him.
He went over to his x wife's house with a gun and put it to her head, and said to her, you won't take me back? I'll show you. Then pulled the trigger-on himself. He wanted to give her an image she will never forget the rest of her life. She understood that he was ill, and has moved on. Whom did he hurt- his son, his mom, his sister, his friends, his ex...everyone who tried to help. He lost. Forever. With no chance to see his son get married or his grandchildren, or find a wife who would love him, or his fishing buddies to hang out with. Booze kills, in more ways than one.

Suicide would solve all my problems. But still, it's not the sort of decision you can come back from.
