I'd first say Gameworks in Ybor
http://www.gameworks.com/
Second how about Ice skating?
http://www.theicesportsforum.com/parties.htm
Third Go carts, mini golf, arcade "Tampa Grand Prix"
http://www.grandprixtampa.com/
All three offer a great time for all that attend, boys/girls, young/old, and are easy to do.

Do they have a lazer tag arena or an inflable arena (it has the moonbouce that you can bounce on and other things)? My daughter is 15 and they still have parties at those places and they love them!
Also you can have a sleepover/scavenger hunt around town and each team dresses up as something. They did this last year. My daughter's team was dressed up as princesses and the other team were the evil stepmoms...
