Consider this...life is what 'we' make it.
We are spirits in a body that is made of the universe, which is energy. The same atoms, the same everything. God, or our eternal intelligence is our source energy.
So we create as we see fit for ourselves. Life's meaning is defined by us, as individuals. Our purpose is the one we give ourselves. There isn't any blackboard in the sky with notes from God to tell us 'what' the meaning of our lives are or why we're here. Your meaning...your true meaning is thus defined by you.
In quoting Jack Canfield, ("Chicken Soup for the Soul") he said: "Think of this...a car driving through the night, the headlights only go 100-200 feet forward, and you can make it all the way from CA to NY, driving through the dark, ‘cause all you have to see is the next 200 ft.; and that’s how life tends to unfold before us. If we just trust that the next 200 ft. will unfold after that and the next 200 ft. will enfold after that… your life will keep unfolding and it will eventually get you to the destination of whatever it is you truly want because you want it”.
