Hi,
Just typing up a report and wondered what the correct spelling might be.

The correct way is Verizon Wireless's network. An apostrophe before the "s" is possessive. The fact that the word ends with an "s" is irrelevant.

I once stumped an English teacher on this one. But she ultimately agreed.

Neither. The apostrophe signifies possession. Who does the network belong to? Verizon. Therefore, it is Verizon's network. Wireless, is used as an adjectival modifier of network. What kind of network? A wireless one. I'm going through the process, not to talk down to you, but to show you how to phrase this kind of question and apply your answer, so you can handle any future instances, yourself. Good luck.

Verizon Wireless. No possession marks. That's for sure.
