i have some idea abt this thin but i want to know more abt it so plez guide me.......

One common use of antimatter is the PET scan.

They way this works is doctors will inject you with a "dye" that contains a weak positron emitter. They then put in a ring that is a gamma ray detector. What happens is the dye will emit positrons which then collide with nearby electrons. When this happens the positron and electron annihilate and create two photons of equal energy (~.511MeV) that travel in opposite directions. The detector detects these two photons and by determine the time between detecting the two photons it can determine the location of the annihilation. Using this and a variety of different dyes you can infer a lot internal structure of the body.
