Doesn't count as a soldier is not a worker and is not 'employed'. Labor laws in the US and most countries do not apply to military. They don't get time and a half, unemployment benefits and other niceties.

It does not count as child labor as the countries that would use children in war don't usually have such laws. It does qualify as child endangerment, as cruel and sadistic behavior, but then again, those countries don't operate under the same laws as we do.

FALSE. It is expressly forbidden under the U.N. treaty on the rights of the child.

The forced labour of children be that in times of war or peace is in breach of treaty. There are no excuses for using children in this manner.
