It's Possible (McElligot's Pool) - Seussical (Love this song!)Little People - Les Miserables
Where Is Love - Oliver
I've Got No Strings - Pinnochio (There is a stage version so technically this could be a theatre song)
Dites Moi - South Pacific (there are lyrics in English you can find online as well as the French used in the show)
Gary Indiana - Music Man

You can also try songs from Peter Pan, Billy Elliot, Bugsy Malone, Children of Eden, Falsettos, Honk!, Mame, Shenandoah, The Boy From Oz... they all have young boy characters. He should find something in a range that he's comfortable with and that shows good character or that shows similar character to what he's auditioning for.

Good luck!

I was going to suggest the snowman song 'were walking in the air' by Aled Jones, but as that has already been suggested, how about 'wimmowee' , by tight fit. Came out in the eighties, a cover of a previous version from the sixties. If yer brother dresses in a leopard suit, slicks his hair back, and the judges are ancient, he will win hands down.

I'm 11 too! I'm not sure, but if he wants to go for a classic song that's well known, go for food glorious food.
Say "Hi Gooa11's bro!" from me. Hope the audition goes well! Who knows, your bro might be on Xfactor in a couple of years time. If he is, I know who I'd want to win!!!!

Is he interested in singing Musical Theater, or mainstream music? If he is interested in Musical Theater, I would recommend a song for a Tenor, like "Honey Bun" from South Pacific, or "Not While I'm Around" from Sweeney Todd.

The key of a song can be easily changed by someone who knows about music. If he can sing the songs well and is comfortable singing them, then it is best to get someone to rewrite the score in a key that is within his range.

Good luck.
