I was not allowed to crush a fly on the floor due to the fact that my co-worker said worms would come out of the fly. Regardless, we made a bet (lunch), and whoever gets the majority of votes, wins the bet.

Not the smaller flies but I have seen worms come out of a large fly I swatted.

I didn't really crush it - hit it with a rolled-up newspaper. Within seconds, little white worms poured out from it and began to drag it away.

I didn't want to see where they were taking the body so I just flicked the whole shebang out the door with the selfsame rolled-up newspaper.

I then burned the newspaper.

yeah a little blood and some puss. maggots come out of flies (not worms) and are so small when first layed you cant see them to well. after they feed they get big and visible. but yeah, nothing more than blood and its inside will come out

theyre not worms. theyre maggots which are children of the flies.
