What you need to believe to be a Republican:
1. Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.
2. Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.
3. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.
4. The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.
5. A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.
6. The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches, while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.
7. If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

It's refreshing to see someone else with their eyes wide open to see the madness of this administration. BRAVO!
I especially liked the pieces about the military, seeing I'm on active duty. One thing you forgot to mention was that the soldiers who speak to the VIP's touring the areas are selected by their chain of command to speak with these public officials and will provide the opinion that the official is looking for.
I heard Joe Biden talking about his chats with soldiers in Iraq this morning on the news, and how they support the mission there. BULLSHIT!!! I assure you he was not speaking to random "joes" out there.

Republican "belief" varies but I will adress the "points" you think you are making.
1. Disagreeing with homosexuality isn't the same as hating the homosexual. Same wtih Hillary.
2. Reagan tried to decide who was the "lesser of two evils."
3. I don't know much about this one & I won't pretend to.
4. The UN is pretty useless. They are hypocritical to have resolutions but blame us for enforcing them.
5. Whether you like it or not, there is another human living inside the woman when she wants an abortion. And very few Reps want NO regulations, just smarter ones that don't drive businesses away to countries that have NO regulations.
6. As opposed to the liberals who bash the tropps in speeches & cut off funding?
7. Why must condoms be given in schools when they are available in just about any gas station rest room?
8. Who are we belittling?
9. Socialized medicine is a bad idea. PERIOD!
10. Global warming is real but not everyone thinks it is our fault. Who is still claiming tobacco's link to cancer is junk science?
11. Clinton DID lie. Bush was mistaken, partially thanks to what Clinton did to the CIA.
12. Not all Reps are in favor of banning gay marriage.
13. Bush's DWI was over 30 years ago. We have a right to know, but it's not a big deal. Hilary's cattle trades were almost as long ago. I think we shouldn't make much of a deal over that, either, unless laws were deliberately broken. Even then, it isn't exactly front page news.
14. If you didn't break the law to get illegal drugs, you wouldn't become addicted to them. But many people become addicted to legal drugs though no fault of their own.
Some Republicans are fiscal conservatives & wouldn't care one bit if gay marriage was allowed.
Some Republicans are not that fiscally conservative but are very concerned with the decline of morals in the nation.
Do you adhere to every Democrat standard? If you are, you are a sheep.

1) I'm as Republican as they come, and those are not my beliefs in any way.
2) Reagan favored Saddam because he was anti-communist. Defeating Communism was the most important goal at that time.
3) We know that China wants to adopt a capitalist system, and they are doing so at a rate that is making our head spin. Trade with Cuba would just make life easier for Castro. He would not allow capitalistic market reforms.
4) The U.S. should start publicizing all the slimy things the UN does, all the hidden agendas it has, the money it squanders, etc. Have you forgotten that France, Germany and Russia all signed every one of the seventeen resolutions against Iraq, and called for military action. The reason these countries did not approve military intervention was because Saddam was bribing the Security Council members of these countries. We have to expose these things or corruption will just continue to fester at the UN. We shouldn't leave the UN, we should demand it fulfill its mandate.
5) You make a good point, but since there is a "day after" pill that prevents conception, any woman who still needs an abortion was just too lazy to buy the pill. Corporations are often like psychopaths. I hate many corporations.
6) Very good point. We should elect you to oversee veterans affairs. Good for you.
7) Here in Europe, there is no stigma about young people having sex or drinking alcohol, and everything is much better. People seem to learn responsibility early, and don't binge drink or get addicted to sex because it was always within reach, not "forbidden fruit". No huge drug or teen preganancy problems like the U.S.
8) See point 4 above. We should demand that all the countries whose Security Council members were bribed by Saddam should be put on probationary status. They should be harshly punished for their duplicity, and forced to publicly apologize. They violated the most basic parts of the UN Charter and made it irrelevant as an insitution to enforce international rules.
9. Email me privately. When you know what I know about Socialized medicine, you will kiss that (admittedly stinking, greedy) HMO.
11) Watch the movie "The Great Global Warming Swindle": http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4499562022478442170
It completely debunks global warming as being a man made phenomena. I don't believe in some bizarre Seventh Day Adventist 6,000 year old earth creationism nonsense, I believe in Intelligent Design. All that means is that a higher power is indeed responsible for all creation, nothing more, nothing less.
11. The press irresponsibly attacked Clinton so much it interfered with him performing his Presidential duties. We should take steps to prevent something similar from ever happening again.
12. Once again, you can email me. The short story is that gay marriage is impossible because of lawyers. There is a clause called "Equal protection under the law", which is why the ERA never passed. Once the definition of marriage is not restricted to one man and one woman, every sicko group could demand their own definition be recognized, such as disgusting old men at NAMBLA who want to marry young boys. This is not some unfounded fear. Ask any lawyer, he'll tell you this is undeniable.
13. You make another good point!
14. You're on a roll ! 10 more points for you.

Maybe criticizing judges for being soft on criminals unless the criminal is the VP's former chief of staff.
Or wanting union members to vote rebublican while the administration is doing all that it can to destroy the labor movement.
Hypocracy has no bounds.

25 rules to be a Republican:
1) Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you are millionaire conservative radio jock, which makes it an illness and needs our prayers for your recovery.
2) You have to believe that those privileged from birth achieve success all on their own.
3) You have to believe that the US should get out of the UN, and that our highest national priority is enforcing UN resolutions against Iraq.
4) You have to believe that government should stay out of people's lives but it needs to punish anyone caught having private sex with the wrong gender.
5) You have to believe that pollution is ok, so long as it makes a profit.
6) You have to believe in prayer in schools, as long as you don't pray to Allah or Buddha.
7) "Standing Tall for America" means firing your workers and moving their jobs to India.
8) You have to believe that a woman cannot be trusted with decisions about her own body, but that large multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind with no regulation whatsoever.
9) You have to believe that you love Jesus and Jesus loves you, and that Jesus shares your hatred of AIDS victims, homosexuals, and Hillary Clinton.
10) You hate the ALCU for representing convicted felons, but they owed it to the country to bail out Oliver North.
11) You have to believe that the best way to encourage military morale is to praise the troops overseas while cutting their VA benefits.
12) You believe that group sex and drug use are degenerate sins that can only be purged by running for governor of California as a Republican.
13) You have to believe it is wise to keep condoms out of schools, because we all know if teenagers don't have condoms they won't have sex.
14) You have to believe that the best way to fight terrorism is to alienate our allies and then demand their cooperation and money.
15) You have to believe that government medicine is wrong and that HMO's and insurance companies only have your best interests at heart.
16) You have to believe that providing health care to all Iraqis is sound government policy but providing health care to all Americans is socialism personified.
17) You believe that tobacco's link to cancer and global warming are "junk science", but Creationism should be taught in schools.
18) You have to believe that waging war with no exit strategy was wrong in Vietnam but right in Iraq.
19) You have to believe that Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney was doing business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a we-can't-find-Bin-Laden diversion.
20) You believe that government should restrict itself to just the powers named in the Constitution, which includes banning gay marriages and censoring the internet.
21) You have to believe that the public has a right to know about the adulterous affairs of Democrats, while those of Republicans are a private matter.
22) You have to believe that the public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades but that Bush was right to censor those 28 pages from the Congressional 9/11 report because you just can't handle the truth.
23) You support state rights, which means Ashcroft telling states what locally passed voter initiatives he will allow them to have.
24) You have to believe that what Clinton did in the 1960's is of vital national interest but what Bush did decades later is stale news and
irrelevant.
25) You have to believe that trade with Cuba is wrong because it is communist, but trading with China and Vietnam is just dandy.
